How I use FaceBook

Most of us are busy working 5 days a week and eagerly awaiting the much sought after weekend that promises to pack in a lot of fun and excitement  However, there's a small section of people like me who prefer to spend their weekends doing something more fruitful rather than whiling away time at the nearby mall. I prefer to catch up with my loved ones via Facebook. This post is meant for those who are curious to know the real things that can possibly be done by youngsters such as me while using the social media.

Facebook has been my best friend since 2007  helping me to stay in touch with my loved ones using the News Feed link that is generally located on the left-side of the navigation path. I also update my status using the Update Status box to add interesting quotes about life or notes that ive taken from the day. Next, i move on to the Messages section wherein i manage the messages exchanged with my dear buddies. I can also search for a specific buddy to communicate with else, just open the Chat window to have a heartfelt conversation.  Sometimes, i even add files or photos to make the message more appealing to the reciever.

I also use the Friend Finder box to locate old and current buddies or potential partners for business or personal relationship building. This helps me to improve my relationships at all levels without much cost. This also helps me to take important decisions if any pertaining to any of the contacts that im tracking. Using the Like option i can express my views, opinions, suggestions, or feelings for people that matter to me. The only point being that i often open up the Pandora's box of old memories of people who were once close by browsing through existing photos with them taken at different geographical destinations and in various modes.

As time goes on and my impatience as ISFP personality type gets to me,  i quickly hover over to the Game Request section to indulge in quiet or exciting matches with my prospective mates. It could be anything ranging from Farmville (now how many chicken did i sell?!) or Guess which Pop star (do i really care??) or Sweet Candy Crush Saga (M mm!!).

I also take care of my writing using Facebook by updating the status bar with the latest link to the articles, creating special pages dedicated to my articles, subscribing to pages relating to my work area,  and contacting advertisers for promoting my articles. I also hover over the ads that peek at me from the sidebars provided they meet my current requirements. There is a definite difference to my world..thanks to Facebook!
